Experience
Jane has worked in regional school improvement since 2017, having been initially seconded as a leader of learning for GCSE English. She now supports schools with literacy and provides secondary specialist support for English up to A Level.
She began her career in education in 2002, when she undertook the Graduate Teacher Programme in an 11 –16 Swansea school. She then moved to a large 11-18 comprehensive school in Swansea for 16 years. She has held leadership positions within the English department, including Teach First Mentor, and Literacy Co-ordinator across the schools.
Jane sits on the WJEC Advisory Group for English GCSE.
